"I had my baby shower this past Saturday, thrown by a friend, and you did the cake and I had to take a moment to write to you. We were so blown away. Not only was it stunning but it was DELICIOUS (we polished off the leftovers that same night!). The attention to detail was absolutely incredible. I don't think there was a single person in attendance at the shower that didn't lavish praise on it. The cake, itself, was SO yummy - full of flavor without being overwhelming - and the icing was light and just perfect. Thank you more than I can say for the piece of art (in both the aesthetic and baking sense) you created for us! It made a beautiful event even more elegant and memorable. There are plenty of people who can bake tasty things and plenty that can make them lovely. Those with the ability to do both are rare and special and you are one of the few. If there is ever a future event for which I need anything you do, I'll be knocking at your door!"
"Wild One" 1st Birthday- Candace and Jonathan Young- January 8th, 2017
"Katie's work in one word is perfection-- from the detail in the decor to the taste of the cake. She was such a pleasure to work with. The main cake for the guests matched our "Where the Wild Things Are" theme and I wanted something whimsical. The cake was like a work of art and a perfect centerpiece to the main table. The smash cake she made for my son was beyond adorable. I asked her to mimic the lettering on the invites and I was in awe of how exact the lettering was-- down to the gold crown on the "J" of his name. All the guests raved about how moist and delicious the cake was. My son also appreciated his cute smash cake. I will definitely be using Katie for all of our cake needs in the future.
